Our site is interested in anything connected with outdoor life, our specialist sports and leisure activities are Worldwide and UK Trekking, Cycling, Running. My name is John Edwards and I have been trekking in many countries worldwide since 1998, I take part in at least one worldwide trek or cycle event each year. amost of the events I have taken part in have been charity events, my chosen charity for most of these events has been Scope the charity for people with cerebral palsy. www.scope.org.uk/adventures click on this link for Scopes adventure events.
The site is under construction at present, eventually there will be a page for each event I have taken part in. We will have news of local events including the annual Essex walk - THE NORTH ESSEX CIRCULAR - The fourteenth walk will take place on Sunday, May 27th, 2007, go to latest news for more details, a full page and entry form will be on adventure trekking from January 2007.
The site will include full step by step description of walks in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. THE ESSEX COUNTRY TO COAST WAY, which was launched in 1995, is now being updated, the new edition of the guide will be published in Spring 2007, watch for the details which will be coming soon.
THE LAKE DISTRICT, Cumbria. One of my favourite walking areas in the UK. A page dedicated to hill walking in the Lake District will be available soon.
